The AFL Women's competition has become a jugganaught since launching in 2017. Now in it's fifth year, 2021 is set to be the biggest season yet after the season was cut short in 2020. With participation booming and girls all over the country swapping their netballs for sherrins, the future of the AFLW competition is bright. In 2021, look for two time premiers Adelaide to bounce back from a disappointing 2020, and the Gold Coast Suns and Richmond will look to become contenders in thier second year in the comp. Footy in summer is back and we can't wait.
